Let me start whining.

1)Changed Steering rack it has a knock inside it. I am not changing this rack out again. It is a PITA to do and I don't have the paitence. Only when I turn right it does it. UUUUGH!
2)Swapped right side axle and one of the three axle bearing bolts break! UUUGH! A $65.00 axle now costs me $150.
3)The dust shield on the back of the axle bearing comes loose! UUUUGH!
4)10 year old Grimmer Phillips STB breaks! UUUUUGH!

I ordered a Courtesy STB. They say it will clear the ABS relay box on the right side strut tower. Is this true? Who has one on their NX. Please let me know.

IAN,

I have the Courtesy Front STB for about a month now. The relay box is not the problem. On the passenger side post, the relay box is supported by a bracket.

If you place the ring on top of the post the bracket will be sandwich in between the ring and the post. This is the problem. The problem is that the there is not enough thread to accomodate the bracket and the ring.

I have pictures I'll post 'em much later tonight if you want or e-mail them to you.

I still have yet to install mine because I'm debating if I should do my suspension now (GC coilover) or just cut the bracket to install the STB.

But if you have an aftermarket suspension you might be ok, I don't know. I guess the answer is "Yes" it will clear the ABS relay box.

I get the same thing but only if i just barely turn it right. It only makes it once so i was thinking maybe it is just the tire hitting the splash gausrd somewhere. I cant really tell because it just happens at that one spot everytime and is fine when holding it cranked all the way. I just cant figure it out.
