: Crazy vibration under load

I have a 92 SE-R and I just replaced the clutch, Pressure plate, resurfaced the flywheel, axles and I upgraded to NX2000 front brakes. I still have the stock 14 inch stock SE-R wheels.
Now i'm getting a very bad vibration whenever the car is under a load. If I accel slowly there isn't a vibration but when i'm getting on it and up in the rpms and power the steering wheel shakes and it makes a rummm rummm rummm noise.
I've put the front wheels in the air and while hitting the brake and gas at the same time the wheels vibrate a lot.
Also while driving I can duplicate the vibrbration by riding the brake and hitting the gas at the same time..
I'm thinking that it's the wheel bearings but when i checked them by grabbing the wheel on top and bottom and moving in and out the drivers side doesn't budge and the pass side moves only a little.
Could it be bad wheel bearings? Just want to rule everything else out before I replace them.
Could it be the Clutch or pressure plate at all.

THanks

before jumping to the wheel bearings, check the easy stuff first. start with pulling the front wheels off and inspect the threads on the lugs. inspect the holes in the wheels where the lugs go through. if they check out fine put the wheels back on, being careful to center them on the hubs. hand tighten the lug nuts while moving the wheels forward/backward slightly. torque to spec.
have you check the axle nuts for security?
fwiw, i was getting a similar vibration. it turned out to be my wheel bearings :-( they checked out fine during the shake/wiggle test, but when they were pressed out of the hubs it was obvious they were shot. put new bearings in and the vibes are gone :-)
good luck.

when my wheel bearings were bad there was a vibtrating noise while driving, not as loud during a curve or turn. might be your problem...?

Well, I replaced the wheel bearings this weekend and what a fun job that was.
Anyway,
I'm still getting the vibration but I don't think it's as bad as it used to be.
Looking at the NEW axles they sure look like they are bent.
Anyone else have problems with getting bent "new" axles?

Thanks

Not exactly bent, but the rebuilt one that was put in my car two weeks ago appears to be busted. Hard turns under power and it feels like I'm driving on a rumble strip.

Is it possible the lugs aren't tight? Also check the Axle Nut.

I had a vibration under load on my Se-r and found out it was the axles. The outer joint will click. The inner joint will cause a vibration and may cause the front to shimmy under load. My bet is the axles.

my classic does that when i let off the gas...and at idle. im guessing my vibration is from motor mounts *** (altho ive been told allready that its not the mounts).
