: PA/Northeast meet vs. IX
Well, folks, I seem to be having a slight problem with some of the altimas.net people spamming my threads about the PA meet and trying to rally people to come to Import Expresssions. They completely took over the first thread I had posted there, then I made a new one and they have spammed that one. I was attempting to be non-biased by inviting all the different makes/models to this meet. Unfortunately, some people just cant understand that and screw up my posts by talking about IX. Im sorry, but IX is not my style, therefore please dont talk about it in a non-related thread. BTW I am not biased toward the altima crowd, in fact I know of quite a few comng to the PA meet, there were only certain ones that have caused problems. After all the work and effort of several people to get a meet of this magnitude together, I find it in bad taste to try and lure people away from it to go somewhere else. It hasn't been too bad in sr20de forum, but it has started here with one of the same people that spammed the thread in altimas.net. I know it sounds like I am being a little beeyatch, but it's causing more headaches with people e-mailing, PMing, and IMing me about it. So, what would be appropriate? Should we spam their threads too?

andre 08-02-2002, 09:32 PM Dont worry about it...IX will be other imports that will be at every other car show. If anyone wants to be down with a group of fellow Nissan owners, they can come down to PA with us.

shri: It sounds like you are promoting this show thing a little to much if you are spamming on other posts. Just put your IX clubdeyda on a post that YOU MADE and have your way with it. Also it sounds like a little rice fest anyways.
Ian: It sounds like you are being mature about this (I havent seen any other posts about this shit so I can only say how I feel from what I see on this post) and the PA meet should be a good time. Hope you all have fun! Rice fests are for boring friday and saturday nights when everywhere you look you see indiglo windshield sprayers and tire flies! Hope most of the altima guys go to the PA meet. Have a good one!

Chrissy 08-03-2002, 02:00 PM I personally can't stand car shows. Everywhere you look you see the same thing...neons...Some cars can be nice but its like 1 out of every 20. Not worth it. I say let the Altima guys have their fun and go there. The ones who show up at the meet I will definantely be cool with. :D I've only ever had bad experiences with these guys...

the major thing that botheres me is the fact that they probably had the date set a LONG time ago...and NOW they want to promote? Makes no sense to me...

hey hey hey now come on, I'm no ricer but the ix thing is basically in my town so I figure better to do that than take a 3 hour drive, but I agree that anyone that has a decision to make should go to the pa meet as the IX thingie will probably be a lot of rice and probably wont have any real nice sr20de's there anyway, but I know I ain't no ricer:mad: :cool:
