I got my avenir and am cleaning it up.......what does this go and the plug next to it, I can't find it in my fsm for a 98 sr20de...can anyone get me a 99 avenir fsm???.....:D

I think it's a sensor to regularize your idle once the engine is hot.

That bracket bolts to the intake. The tube that is on the other side goes to the throttlebody. You need to get a cold start valve that bolts to the bracket which was removed by someone. You can get this cold start valve from any 91-93 US motor or any JDM high port motor.

Did the engine come with a Front mount setup? and where and what did the engine cost you?

On our Avenir the spot that the valve was supposed to bolt to was not tapped. We took the valve off the old '94 motor and jury rigged the thing in with some extra piping. The piping holds it in place pretty good. The valve attaches to the harness with a black plug that has one of those metal clips around it.

Thank you. I've been trying to figure out where that bracket attaches to. Now I know.
