Walmart synth suffered complete thermal breakdown at 2500 miles. Oil pressure bounced rapidly between 0 and 40 at speed. No pressure at idle. It poured out like coffee. Bad bad oil. It ain't worth it to save a buck or two.

I just bought some Motul 6100 Synergie
for the same price as Mobil 1. This internet site has it missmarked. www.panteracars.com/motul.html. I also got some Motul Gear 300 for my tranny. Its rated GL4 and I have used it in my other transmission. Good stuff. Has anyone ever used the Castrol full synthetic stuff. From my research the VE is meant to take 10W40 and Mobil1 is not available in 10W40 were I shop.
