Well, I pulled the trigger saturday morning. It's a GSR with no options, just what I was looking for.

If I can find a buyer for the SE-R with the mods in it, I'll put the VE back in, otherwise I'm parting it out, but I'd prefer to keep the car intact at least as a rolling chassis, even if that means I don't make as much, I'd rather keep a B13 in circulation, and it's a fairly clean one. So I'd appreciate keeping your eyes and ears peeled to help me get that all done.

Went to my first AWD meet right after picking up the car and got a special treat, got to look a'93 GTiR up close and personal for the first time. What a week, first I got to see the AWD turbo beast B13, then bought the X, and now seeing the GTiR! Couldn't ask for much more.

Does the GSR have the same weight advantages of the IX RS over the others like the IX MR?

The X is a great car... I've been tempted to upgrade from my VIII. The X is proving to respond very well to mods... The 4b11 breathes much better than the 4g63.

not a big fan of the X but its a nice clean car i will give it that, plus the IX had more power and quicker times. I like the front slightly but again not as much as the IX or VIII and im not feeling the rear at all. But very nice car though

Mod for Mod, the X is making more power with a fatter powerband than the IX. The IX was only faster in a straight line, stock for stock, because it's lighter. The X has beaten the IX around a road course multiple times.

It is a very nice car; the interioir is leaps and bounds better than mine. Definitely a more mature ride.

Thanks for all the feedback. I've yet to push it at all, I've got to let it break in. I'm not fond of the rear either. Really only like the look of it from the front to be honest. Shifter is kind of clunky feeling, takes some getting used to, not near as nice as the IX's shifter. The digital gas gauge sucks, it's not accurate, one minute you've got 3/4 tank, then half, then back up again later, it's annoying. Love the seats, love the ride, can't wait push it and feel the AYC kick in. My buddy has a IX and his feels faster for sure.

As for the B13, it has to be parted, don't have enough OEM suspension parts to keep it rolling nor an sr20 to throw in it.

Sentramike, keep your eyes peeled for a partout thread to appear very soon in the partout forum.
