whats up,
went to epping, new england dragway on wednesday and snapped an axle.
my car made 300 whp at 7 psi. before i even hit the 60ft mark the car stopped moving. got the car home and found that i snapped the passengers side axle. the snapped peice was in side the tranny and no damage was done. hope you enjoy the pictures and if you have any suggestions let me know.

Sucks to see that happen man. Definately a fear of mine. What tires were on the car? What were you launching the car at? Was that an OEM axle? I need to be prepared before I try to really launch my car. It sucks being towed home. Had a good friend of mine get towed home today and took forever. Not fun!

thats why u always take some other axles to the track *** u even if they are cheap ones they can get u home as long as u dont push it to hard

yeah taking an extra set of axles is what my buddy recommended. i really just want to get better axles. those were just the oem axles. i have falken azenis tires not very sticky. i didnt really launch the car i just let the clutch out from about 2000-2500 i started to spin tire and then the car stopped moving.

That message came out a lil wrong . The axle breaking incident sucked. I was pritty upset there were no other classics running. I seen 1 b14 but I didn't see him run. I was driving a black b14.

if u want stronger axles contact driveshaft shop (be prepared to pay alot) or ra axles which have lifetime warraty
