my best 60 was like a 1.9 but i was running 7 psi of boost that time. that was a 13.0 run at 110.

im running like 10-15 psi.
on m&h slicks 23x8.5x15.
i launched from like 5000.
the problem is that i cant hold traction because i cant get the tires hot enough during the burn out and the track up here sux.
with slicks your t25 probably doesnt spin the tires in any gear at the track.
the other night i was spinning all the way thru the trap.

My 16-17 psi of my t25 it's almost your 7 psi of boost..so, i think we might have the same torque under those numbers, so, I do spin the slicks a little bit, but I also do proper warms up..

I see 2 problems here:

1.- you have a lot of air in your slicks tires, you definitely need to lower that, I'll tell you what, try using 9 psi in your slick, after burn out, they will inflate to almost 11, prob 10.5... launch at 5000 rpm and you will see how they stick, another thing, check your air pressure before each pass, you have to be sure that they have the same pressure. I the slicks do spin eve at 9 psi, lower them up to 8 and try there, nothing it's going to happen to your slicks.

2.- your burn out, how are you warming the tires? what i do is I set my gas pedal to 6000rpm and i burn at those rpm's, until I can warm them up nicely, try that, if you do not feel satisfied about your burn out, come back and do it again..at least that's what I do..

I can assure you, you won't break anything and your run 12's.. if the tires hook up after this.. Upper your boost to 9 and try again..

Good luck...

Oh, and another thing, if at 7psi of boost, and 5000 rpm launch and nice proper slick warm up and 8 psi of air on your slick and you run 12.90(at least) try launching at 6000 rpm... bealive me, it's the shit!!!

thanx for the help.
one question when you launch do you drop the clutch or side step it. alot of people say side step or slip it so that the tires dont want to break free as hard.
ive just been dumping it most of the time.

I drop the clutch, I just pre-load a little bit, almost nothing because I'm using the ss disk..6000rpm, on the third yellow, release the clutch completely and bang! 7500, shift to second, 7000rpm shift to third, same on fourth and 12.85 :biggthump

hey now  there were times it spun in first at one track but the other is usually prepped nice and yeah it would take off like a train hitting you. I was giggly the first time with the slicks
