: Greddy Intake Manifold
Crono1321 08-03-2002, 02:58 AM I know it says SR20DET, but would this work on my SR20de?

ihateloops 08-03-2002, 03:29 AM im not even sure if it would work for you if you had a det swap. its from an s13, being the silvia/240, and the engine is mounted horizontally. i dont know if that matters though. it probably doesnt, and now i look like an idiot.
andris 08-03-2002, 03:42 AM no it wont work. Throttle body is on the wrong end. Just get an O2 induction manifold. www.O2induction.com

I think that pic on Ebay is flipped around, the intake on the RWD SR20 faces the front of the car, not the firewall. The RWD intakes do not fit FWD SR20s, not unless Greddy has an app. specifically for the FWD models?
Why not just get the o2 Induction manifold/Big Boost product.
Chris
Edit: damn me and Andris almost said the same thing at the same time!
NX$paniard 08-03-2002, 10:52 AM Even if they did make one for the fwd sr20, you would still be paying the big bucks for the GReddy name....
for the money the O2induction manifold will work as well if not better and looks damn good...quality made too!!
red98se-r 08-03-2002, 01:43 PM hey does anybody know how much the o2 induction intake goes for, and also what it comes with like ie: throttle body gaskets etc.. what kind of power does it make over stock and in what rpm range does it work best. i am building a high comp. sr20 motor with c sereis cams from JWT with a direct port n2o kit and this seems like it would be a great addition. any info???????thanks:D
Crono1321 08-04-2002, 01:37 AM I'm sure jacksondiamond can add his .02c to the o2 induction manifold. I figured as much, that it wouldn't fit, but I had to ask. Also, on availability of the o2 induction manifold...? I know their website, but I wonder if I could get my guy who owns a speedshop to get me a hookup on one. I think they run like 350 or so for the N/A and 550 for the turbo application, but don't quote me. As a side note, I just bought my friend a skunk2 manifold for his teg (a bd present) and I can't wait to see what kind of gains he will get.

red98se-r 08-04-2002, 09:59 AM sweet let me know how it goes crono, hook me up too :D
Crono1321 08-04-2002, 11:23 AM Heh, right now I'm broke as a joke, with only bills coming my
way :(. I do want to get it but I don't see it in the near future, I have other things I would rather have for the car right now. I'll end up getting one in a couple of months or so. Working two jobs nets more money than one I noticed! :D

Rob is selling them to every one for the same price. Stage 1 is 550.00 and the stage 2 is 850.00(dont quote me on this, talk to Rob for a definite price). I will be testing the stage 2 for the low ports in the next couple weeks, if everything goes right! Should see like 50hp on my turbo car(hopefully). Just go to www.O2induction.com for pics. They also do throttle bodies. Mine is pictured on the website.
Crono1321 08-04-2002, 10:15 PM Just wondering....where does the throttle body go? I have been scanning that pic and can't see it anywhere....is it lower down?
Ju§tin
Jackson Diamond 08-04-2002, 11:07 PM Yeah, the throttle body sits lower and near the fire wall. It sits more like a high port. THe runners are straight off the intake ports, no bends just straight flow. :D

THe throttle body is not on in this pic, you can see the inlet hole where the throttle body bolts to. Its right off the end of the fuel rail.
Crono1321 08-05-2002, 12:44 AM Wow thats cool! All this talk makes me long for a new intake manifold! I'm also probably not going to bother polishing my current one now, since in the future I will get one of these. JD can you get me a pic of the TB because I haven't really looked at the engine bay of a high port. :D THANKS!

red98se-r 08-05-2002, 06:06 AM i am wondering i just got a direct port kit(wet). will this work with the o2 intake? ive got to tap the runners and just wanna make sure it goes ok. i think that would be pretty sweet looking to see a badass intake all shiny w/nozzles tapped ready to go..hopefully it be a killer combo..
B_baker03 08-05-2002, 12:27 PM Jackson Diamond-
Is that a low port set-up you have? Is the O2 intake manifold only avaible in a lowport application? I have a 98 Sentra SE and I'm pretty sure that I have a high port.
are there any Dyno #'s for this intake manifold on a NA car?
Crono1321 08-06-2002, 01:13 AM Not as far as I know. I will probably get headers then this...so I'll make sure to be posting results! ....Of course I will probably dyno it after installing it for the FIRST TIME. I've never dynoed my car yet. I don't really feel like paying for two different days, either...:(

Why is your fuel rail just hanging around not bolted to anything? SHouldnt it be bolted to the intake manifold? If we get this intake manifold, where are we supposed to bolt it to?
NX$paniard 08-07-2002, 01:08 PM The O2i manifold has 2 attatchment points for fuel rail brackets.. theyre even tapped and everything.. these manifolds are good to go... evrything u need is there.....as far as dyno numbers there are some on the website for "low boost" applications... nobody has dynoed it NA.....but i think they gained like 50whp on a low boost app...
and the guy with the 98... you have a lowport not a highport...highports were from 91-93 i believe......
LogicalRetard 08-07-2002, 10:55 PM GReddy pwns top-end, O2 pwns the whole powerband....haha.
