Good luck, tell us how you did? Did you like tristate, how were the track conditions? I might be interested in running there or Thornhill later this summer.

Most I've talked to said they hate it there. I still want to check it out sometime.

it was a good time, no wait, run as many times as you want. my best today....
remember, i have 16" toyo's tires, and tmic, stock cat and rear exhausts, and it was hot as a mf'er was

14.75@93mph's. my 60' was a 2.26

i guess it is time to get the exhausts, boost controller and fmic. on a side note, there was a 2g eclipse gs with a built neon turbo motor(20+psi of boost) running 13.5 full interior and a stripped civic running 13.9'scome up on a sat sandman, it is a great time. just bring your own drinks, snacks, etc.

Your 60ft time is alot better than what I do on street tires. My worst run last time I was up at edgewater was a 14.83@100. This was with the 14" stock wheels, 185 Dunlops, 35 psi in the tires (I was getting ready to leave and decided to run 1 more time), stock boost. My 60 ft time was a 2.7 on this run, I bogged it like crazy. I think with a 2.26 60 ft you should be running low 14s easy, your trap speed also seems kind of low.Last week at edgewater my favorite run was one where I ran a 14.81 @ 76 mph, I missed 4th gear and coasted through the lights. What kind of traction are you getting, I was spinning the tires all the way through first and second. I might come up, I would like to see your car.

How are the track conditions at tri-state? I hope they are better than Edgewater, the next time i run the 1/4 it will be at either Tristate or Thornehill.

i spun 1st and 2nd spuealed like a girl for a few seconds. i am kind of disappointed, but i have a few other parts to put on. i like it there at tristate, not busy at all, unlike "rice-water". what all have you got done now, and whats your best time?

Brian

all yeah, i would rev it to like 3g and feather it(like smacking the revlimiter) and then punch it. i ran a 16+ when i tried to start in 2nd. but i was in the 15 until i let 12psi out of the tires, taking them down to 20psi.

Best time in the 1/8 is 8.72 @82.88 ( I know the car can run faster than this, just haven't been back to the track) at a local track, very good track conditions, I only spun through first and a little in second. At edgewater my best run was a 14.06 @ 103 but my 1/8 time was a 9.35 because I could not get traction in first or second, I could not floor the car in first, I was constantly having to modulate the throttle. If my car would have produced a 8.7 1/8 at edgewater, The car would have been running low 13s.

My car still has the TMIC, but I am running one of Dave's fabulous 3" mandrel bent exhaust systems and I have a test pipe.

by best 1/8 was a 9.5@74.73mph.
