ok i have a hotshot cai and well it won;t stay in the uppr cuplink. and if this has ever happened to u then u knwo that the car won;t idle and it dies i have no idea how to make it stay in there???? i mean its like i made the hole for the cai in the fender well to big so the thng sinks in there and pulls out of the holder thing. is there a way to like drill a hole and cable tie it i mean i don;t know let me know thanx akes

Make sure the clamps on the couplers are on tight, and if the whole thing just keeps falling, you will have to make a bracket of some sort to hold it up.

Also if your CAI b-pipe is sinking because the hole is too big, get some clear thick-walled tubing at Lowe's and cut it in half and make a grommet to go around the hole you cut. That may hold the b-pipe in place...at least it did for me. Hope everything works out..

as above. try an L- bracket between the maf and one of the threaded holes where the oem airbox bolted in. you may also want to consider es left/right mm inserts to limit engine rocking, thus reducing stress on the fixed maf if you use this technique.
works for me.

This problem really pissed me off after going through the CAI install. I finally finished it, and then freaking would stay up. I just had a 2nd person hold it up and make it so it was completely covered. Next, I tightened that bracket SO TIGHT I feared breaking it. Lastly I finish and now it doesn't leak.
