A few questions about nitrous. Need some quick answers from the pros. I have 90% installed the zex kit on my car and would like to know best spark plug selection(Car will be used 85% daily 15% race) so I don't know if I should permanetly cater to the nitrous and change my plug range? or should I carry two sets of plugs(plus why do they recommend a non-electrode plug?

2) I was told to run a mix of race leaded and 93 unleaded octane gas, is this a must or could I get away with a high octane unleaded gas.

Thank You

I would recommend using NGK BKR6E plugs for the ZEX setup. You should be able to run these plugs all the time (track and street), no problems. They are copper and can be found for cheap 1.50-2.00 a plug. If you can't find them locally I would recommend getting them for $1.44 ea from Courtesy Nissan, only problem is they have a minimum shipping charge of $7.50, so you might want to order 12 plugs or some other parts you might need, oil filters, etc.

You don't need to run a mix of race leaded fuel and 93 octane. I never did this when I was running ZEX, plus over time the lead in the race fuel will ruin your O2 sensor and you CAT. Which shot of ZEX are you running 55,65,75? ZEX recommends that you run stock timing with the 55, but the timing needs to be decreased, per ZEX instructions, for the 65 and 75 shot. I myself ran the ZEX 55 shot with my timing set at 17 degrees, never had any problems with detonation.
