ive searched this topic with a couple questions to be answered only finding threads about "ticking" and other varius related topics. none really pertaining to answer my questions.
question one: sounds dumb but, with the HLA's bled and installed in the head with the rest of the top end parts including the valve cover, i should no longer turn the motor on the engine stand....correct?
question two: the FSM refers to bleeding the HLA's with a thin "push rod" tapping the "check ball" to bleed the air out. i could not seem to feel or push anything like a check ball in the HLA to bleed air. what did happen though was when i inserted the push rod air bubbled out. i moved the push rod up and down untill the air stopped bubbling. so is the HLA bled now? or is there still air inside the HLA and i do need to find that "check ball?" maybe my push rod is not thin enough? i am using a metal coat hanger.

if this does not make sense, i will try to explain differently. anyone actually dealing with this should understand though....i would think
