Yesterday we took the stocko jukebox out of my NX and replaced it with something decent...

However after all that was done and the new headdeck works fine, we discovered that my in-dash lights were not working.. OK I can cope with that for one night, but while driving the Mr Policeman didn't like the fact that my rear tail lights were not working either...

What have we done and how do we fix it??

what have you done?? haha. lets see....check all your fuses...umm...if you crossed something or shorted out something then you may have blown a fuse. the reverse light runs into the transmission...im guessing your backup lights work but just no brake lights..my friend had this problem after installing his deck...it was the newest alpine one that plays mp3's and all that....best way to figure it out is to check EVERYTHING, give it a once over and check your fuses. youll get it figured out, a few hours max. good luck

Hey dont worry, you just blew your taillamps fuse. That is for both your dash lights and tail lights. I have done it before too. And i was ticketed fo no tail lights after driving for almost a month withought knowing. None of my friends told me *** they thought i knew.

I just didnt at the time know that the dash lights were wired to the taillamps. I serched every where for the dash lights fuse but once i got pulled over and changed that fuse they came back.

PROBLEM!!

I took the tail light fuse out and yes it was blown, so I replaced it, but as soon as I turned the car on it blew again...

make sure all your wires on the radio are taped up good and aren't sticking out in the open. besides that, you will just have to check for any other bad connections. also make sue you replace the fuse while car is not running.

I would look at the dimmer wire first. I think its yellow.
