WTF!!!!! they may be a little on the ricey side, but sure as hell aren't gay! Ya get a little sick of looking at black and white gauges in every single car youve owned. Aluminum wings, clear taillights, and chrome fender trim are gay, but like you said, to each his own.

Yup, to each their own. If you like them, I'm not gonna knock you... until I see you! ;)

But for me, I'm never tired of looking at my gauges, because its not a fashion statement for me to do so. Its for me to see how fast I'm going, not how cool they look. The money toward those could go toward a performance part. But thats just me. Plain jane, w/ no visual upgrades. The only thing 'visual' I'll do is wheels. And they have to be light.

I sure there are members on the site will not agree that beside the outside asthetic portion, the inner will also needs attention.
Shit, the spedo are black with white line. Even you parents car has that.
The sportier vehicles has them on. You pay more attention to the spedo if its out of the simple black dial!
If Nissan has it on the Maxima SE, why the F*&*^ should we not put them on our SE-R. The Honda bastards, I agree sort of overkill the sport compact car them with green, red white, carbon fiber shits, but does not meant white on our car will be looks the same way.
Any way, Has any one with a shitty problem removing the gauge on the older mode?

i just took out my gauge cluster to put in new bulbs last night not terribly difficult. Except for the oddly contorted posititon my arm needed to be in to reach the speedo cable. I put in some polarg hyperwhites and the gaugle cluster looks damn sweet now. i dont think there is a need for indiglo *** i personally do not wanna touch those needles they are finicky enough as it is

if i do go indiglo ill let a shop do it. it would be kinda sweet to have my guages light up the same shade of green that my head unit does.

You are talking about white gauge faces, he's talking about indglow faces. There's a huge difference. The white ones are just black numbers with white faces. The indglow faces glow different colors. Have that bright of a light would get on my nerves, and distract me. I've neen them in a car before, and the interior glows because of them. How are you supposed to drive when you have then bright light in your face.

The guys here have been putting them on w/o removing the needles. I know Roll-Mod-Lsaid the guages can be wrestled over then stock guages and used as overlays without damage. I have a spare cluster so I may cut the old ones off and slide the silver guages on like they did.

I had those reverse indiglo gauges from procarparts.com. I bought them, then sold them, a little too ricey for me, and every other guy in a riced out honda would give me a dirty look because my indiglos were brighter than his

Wow!!! What responds!!!

Positive and negative.

Thanks for your expressions.

Well I guess I'll keep my old gauges and not be "ricey". out

Question?
I do not want white guage faces, but do like the numbers lit up blue at night (or when the lights are on), can this be achieved by simply putting in a blue bulb. I can not see my spedo at night so I was going to change the bulb anyway.

Technially, yes, you can buy a blue 194 bulb and replace the stock ones, BUT It will be nowhere as bright, I tried putting a blue one in my Autometer gauges, and it barely lit up. Plus, whatever color bulb you put in there, thats what color your needles will light up. Just do what I did, get some super white 194 bulbs, put those in there, and enjoy :)
