Hi,
I have a 92 SE-R that just started missing from idle to around 4500 rpm, then it seems to clear up. I haven't driven the car much in the past 2 weeks (just moving it out of the garage into the driveway a few times). It ran fine until I stopped at Subway. When I got back, the miss was there, then it went away after 5 min. or so. Now it's back and it won't leave. I checked the plugs, cap, rotor, cleaned the MAF, filter, and TB, but no improvement.

For the past few years, if I don't let the car warm up and turn it off for a few hours, it will idle poorly, then clear up. Also, it feels a bit flat until around 5000 rpm, then wakes up.

Any ideas on what might be going on?

What brand spark plug wires are you running? Also try shaking the engine harness. As odd as it sounds there may be a break in a wire somewhere.

They are the factory wires. Probably a couple of years old- still soft and didn't see any cracking. I'll try wiggling the harness.
