I blew up my SR20DET stock engine, mounted in a beautiful and lightweight sunny N14 hatch with some GTIR awesome details, like GTIR tail, seats and front bumper.

I already bought 8.5.1 compression ratio CP forged pistons with their rings, complete Clevitte 77 bearing kit plus axials and ARP bolts.

My expectations are 350 whp (FWD sentra SE-R gear box is not super strong) or get middle 12's or high 12's without NOS, off course power is nothing without control and the engine is not the only key to get there.

Actually I don't know the std SR20DET head gasket thickness, I bought a 1mm cometic head gasket (it's a little thicker than that) and still wondering if I'm lossing soo much compression ratio of my turbo engine with the same t25 turbo and boosting 15 psi.

What is the right thickness of the head gasket with the internals I have mentioned, forgot to say, stock cams, stock rods,virgin Head, 0.5 bored block and think to upgrade to t28
