all the turbo se-r's already have problems with smog in ca, if i'm correct there's no 'legit' way of getting it to pass ... but for those who have ways around the system, more power to you... and i'll be contacting you if i ever get a turbo hehheeh.... :D

This is the whole reason I have said fuck the turbo install. I have this bad boy waiting too but whats the point?

Sure it's nice to have but I dont want to go through the BS with Carb shit. The only Turbo Carb Kit for our car is a JWT one.

Which I was looking into but they say it will be like 3-4 grand, does not even include an innercooler and they are not sure when the release date is. Hmm.. nice, so what good is that.

Makes me mad when you see Greddy And AEM ripping them honda parts out.. Carb Legal in shit. Though I understand the Demand for honda and other imports are higher than nissan. It still sucks for us Cali peeps.. or anyone who has nazi ass smog laws...

Sure I dont want to kill a tree and all that hippy stuff.. but if you pass the sniff that should be that.. fuck this visual shit.. that pisses me off. And there is no benifit to paying someone off, cause when you get pulled over and they till you to POP the hood. You get fined for tampering with shit and the smog place gets raped..

I passed last year with headers, Pacesetter. Only because they rusted and looked stocked...

I understand that the C.A.R.B. is trying to protect our air & all, but sometimes those mofos go insane! You can't do shit to your car in Cali without the fear of a smog check or something like that. We need to start asking companies to get their shit C.A.R.B. approved or just petition to get the C.A.R.B. out of our cars. The sniff test should be good enough! :mad:
