im gonna swap a SR20 into a base model sentra but i was wondering if i can use the GA16 harness and if so what modifications do i need to make to the harness. thanks in advance

First off you would need a FSM before starting. 2nd I've looked at the wiring diagrams and it isn't worth the hassle. Find a SR20 powered car and pull its ECU + harness. There are some sensors on the GA that aren't on the SR20 and vice versa. Not to mention the wires are on different pins on the ECU.

i have done it before on 95+ 1.6 harness. as i recall a 91-94 1.6 harness is just not similar enough. i will not do it again unless for large amounts of money....you could likely get a used 2.0 harfor less than that.

save yourself headaches and buy a 2.0 harness!

thanks for your help guys. i bought a 91 base model sentra w/ a blown head gasket for $250 the other day and i am still contemplating on swaping the motor from my NX into the sentra. thanks again
