What oil do you guys use in your Daily Driver VE's? Especially for the summer time period.

i use mobile 1 10w30 ... was using 5w30 but that oil gets dark way too quick 20w50 is over kill and is thicker and slows down crank rotation ... sounds crazy but its very true

I know this might sound crazy but I read on turbo magazine a few months ago, an article about oil viscocity and the different dyno # they were puting out. The one that gave the most HP was with Lucas Sintetic 0-20W, Would our engines benefit from these type of oil, ++HP ?? 0-20w or 0-5 Raceoil? check it out http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/0803_turp_lucas_synthetic_oil_test/index.html

That is pretty interesting, but I wonder if it would be good enough protection for daily driving?

Any suggestion on the Valvoline VR 1 10W-30?? is good or not

Running mobil 1 5w30, definate power increase from 10w30. The 5w30 does seem to deteriorate sooner requiring more frequent oil changes.
