Is there any such car or motor. Someone was telling me of a jdm b15 sunny vzr with a 2nd gen sr16ve that revs to 9000rpm and tach reads 10000rpm. Also has a large spline hydraulic gearbox similar to the one that comes the Sentra Spec V.

Googled and found nothing.

Can anyone confirm?

Peace

You might be referring to the N15 not B15. It is a Hatch pulsar. Comes with the SR16VE N1, produces about 200HP stock. YES ONLY NISSAN. (1600CC)

There is JDM B15 SR16VE
it clutch pump type gearbox
and ECU at engine bay instead of inside the car

The rev cut still 8200 but the tach is 10krpm

I heard this rumour aswell. I dont believe it revs to 9000rpm though im pretty sure its 8000rpm.

It runs a rs5f50 gearbox to.:eek2: I saw this on a japanese website.

I wonder what final drive and ratios?

CMNG is correct with his info.

Wow thats pretty cool only sad part is you can build a simluar Honda for pretty cheap the Nissan you cant. If we had that body style here it would be awesome. That Pulsar is amazing.

Any of you guys could help me out?

I'm seeking information on this cluster wiring.
Any possible information in any language.
Pictures of plugs with color wiring behind the cluster would be nice too.

i also have this engine and was wondering if the wiring loom is the same as the normal 16ve even though the ecu sits in the engine bay

I cannot confirm 100% but I believe the wiring loom of ecu is the same.
The internal ecu maps are definitely the same with Jn15.

Ecu siting on engine bay, that would be a 1st for a Nissan car.
The JB15 vz-r ecu i've seen looked the same with JN15.

yeah its pretty weird hey, i have pics of it and the plastic cover it sits in the bay. was kinda hoping that the loom wouldn't be cut at all with everything in the bay, but it was

Well don't worry about it. My loom was also cut but we manage to solder everything back.
I've posted most of my diagrams here (http://www.sr20-forum.com/vvl/11520-neo-vvl-ecu-pin-chart.html).
You wouldn't have a problem tracing color code on the wires and soldering them together.

Cluster information is not needed anymore. I've sorted out.
