Ok, Im getting the jdm swapped in this coming week, Im looking at things to get cause the engine place said they would add some bolt ons i supply for free, now im gonna have them do the pulley, header, and clutch. if they are willing to do this stuff for free, do you think they would do the es motor mounts too? i forgot to ask so i will call them tomarrow to find out for sure, but what do you guys think? Are they a pretty easy install? I noticed that they have the mounts, and sell just the inserts as well. i found the inserts for just under $8 bucks, and the complete mounts for $35 from courtesy nissan. pretty cheap so i will go ahead and spring for em. so what do you guys suggest?

Yes, get the mounts done. They are bound to get weak sometime, and its a helluva lot easier to install them during a swap (obviously). Its not hard to press them in, but again, if you don't have to do it, don't!

yeah I would get them without a doubt but I will assume that they will charge you some money for pressing them in as most of the other bolt ons are just stuff that needs to be done anyway this doesn't, but I would definately get them, especially with the addition of mods and future mods even if your mm are good now they wont be for long.

yeah get em done while its out. btw i ordered the ES set from courtesy for 35.00 along with the "torque mounts" for another 35.00 , what are these mounts? for the tranny?i figured if im gonna get them done i might as well do it all, i also got the shifter bushing from them too..does the shifter/torque mounts help alot? thanks :D

yes, the torque mounts do help a lot. I believe the front dog bone mount to be a big key, as they seem to go bad real easy. The back one is good too but can be a pain to go in just grease it up, the front one actually replaces the hole two pieces of the mount and the side motor mount is a full replacement as well and the other side mount which is a tranny mount is just a insert like the rear firewall motor mount. I would definately do all four, people say for the least vibration do the torque mount and then get new mounts for the two sides but I wouldn't do that as it appears that when you do the front and back it is putting extra pressure on the side motor mounts and they will tend to go bad much faster with the inserts in the torque position just live with the little extra vibration.
