Thanks ! tamas 04-25-2008, 08:59 PM rubbing compound. hondaeat-r 04-25-2008, 09:12 PM I thought rubbing compound can put scratches in the car... Setzer 04-26-2008, 11:13 AM Follow up with polishing compound. antser 04-26-2008, 11:23 AM race glaze...i picked it up at an auto body supply shop. also, ive actually heard of people using a dab of toothpaste on a moist terrycloth rag. its got mild abrasives in it...but not too harsh. NismoSER 04-26-2008, 03:06 PM I recently (about 30 minutes ago) used Mothers Scratch remover on my Infiniti to remove some light abrasions and some light scratches. Worked perfectly, then I followed it up with 3M Hand Glaze and then some Mothers Carnauba Wax. hondaeat-r 04-27-2008, 05:19 PM Hmm, i'll try the Mothers. I'm not really looking to spend all day doing this. Thanks guys. stealthaltima 05-16-2008, 03:13 AM a good glaze will help to hide small scratches too. just seal it with a good wax [synthetics will last longer]. bossballa 07-09-2008, 06:57 PM good pollish and alot of elbow greese! redcap3000 07-12-2008, 02:21 PM I swear by the mothers carabuna cleaner .. sometimes I put it on a few days after a wash... you gotta scrub h-a-r-d. Takes a few hours by hand, but well worth it. LOUROK 07-13-2008, 12:24 PM I've used Meguiars Scratch X and its worked well for me. Quenga 07-21-2008, 03:09 AM I used that 'Scratch X' stuff on my truck...all it did was make the scratches less visible. I repeated it several times with terry cloth, pad, etc. Nothing changed. It was a cheap way to make the car less scratch looking, but after all that work, it wasn't worth the time spent to me. n1smojunkie 07-21-2008, 03:18 AM couple coats of cleaner wax works wonders for me...especially old paint. bestat240sx 07-22-2008, 04:14 PM rubbing compound. Follow up with polishing compound. works like a charm! 1fastser 07-22-2008, 04:32 PM 3M scratch remover followed by 3M polishing compound Niffy_NX 07-23-2008, 01:22 AM how much for the 93nx.. also lookin for parts for my nx.. like fenders nd bumper.... e-mail... niffypr@sbcglobal.net motoxr 08-26-2008, 08:35 PM Scratch X is amazing. My car's paint looked like crap when I first got it. I used a whole bottle of this stuff and now my car shines! novadose914 09-28-2008, 09:53 PM how deep is the scratch, if its clear coat use some extremely fine sandapaper and buff it out! do work :D sr20_Gene 11-22-2008, 10:21 PM You get the car Buffed!! the best thing ever if you have scratches or if your paint looks like crap. just dont do it yourself unless you know what you're doing | |
