Hey just callin out to all NX owners in the BC area. Just post here with what kinda NX you have and with a pic if possible. I was thinking about maybe starting some kinda of NX club if we have enough owners here. So make a post here and if you have any suggestions, they would be gladly taken.

My website is down, or I'd post a picture. Anyways, mine is a stock ride height dark blue *t-top-less* 92 with grey moldings. I have 15" Konig Rated R's on it at the moment (6 spoke silver wheels w polished lip). Also, it has stickers on the rear side windows. One side is my website addy: AUTOMATUM.COM and the other is a Snoisses sticker (if anyone gets that reference I will be stunned).

I live in Vancouver (east end of Gastown), but commute to Burnaby (metrotown area) every day for work, so I'm on the number 1 a couple of times a day. Which is what I should be doing right now!

The majority of NX drivers in Vancouver are girls in their late 20s who got the car new as a present for their 19th birthday or something and have since run the car into the ground. That's the sad reality about our cars (but mostly just the 1600s -- haha).

I've seen lots of female drivers too man.

I saw you driving around the other day. Can't remember where but I remember seeing an NX with the AUTOMATUM.COM sticker. Is yours an NX2000 or 1600?

We could try but you're pretty much looking at all the members you'd ever find! I don't know if there would be much point to it.

2000... My site is now up. Here's my car:

Another, with my 510 wagon in the background

Oh yeah, I'm considering coming to the VCMC event and joining the club this Sunday... I haven't auto-x'd all season (wasted away my summer working on my 510 project, which I have since abandoned) and am itching to get back at it.

Excellent! Good thing is that if you join on Sunday, your membership will be extended for the entire 2003 season as well! Hope to see you there. There's an amazing lack of NX2K's at autox. I'm pretty much the only one :(

Check it out at www.vcmc.ca

We're having an event this Sunday. I encourage all of you to attend, if even to just watch because you can go for rides with other drivers and get a feel for an autox at Boundary Bay.

Only memberships signed up on or after Aug 1st are extended for the next year. You should be racing more events, you aren't even taking advantage of your current membership! I see you all the time but you're just watching!

Absolutely not!!! In fact, nothing is more encouraging to the entire racing community than seeing a young driver dive right into LEGAL racing and doing it right while others your age are buying altezza taillights, putting mad stickers on their cars and racing on the streets. 17 year olds that get into, and stick with racing are champions at 20, when other 20 year olds are just getting into the sport. This weekend's event is a perfect opportunity for you to come out, get familiar with your car and the techniques of racing, the way events are run...etc. without any pressure to perform well. All the senior drivers there (including me) will be more than willing to lend a hand, give you rides, ride with you, drive your car, give advice, encouragement...etc.

Come on out, have fun, and raise hell!

If you have any other questions you can email me at sonofskyline@hotmail.com or post up on this forum or the vcmc forum.

I look forward to seeing you there :)

15x6.5" Konig Rated R's.

Hey SoS, do you know when I should get to BB for tech/registration? I'm pretty sure I am going to come out. If any of you other Vancouver NX'ers show up, we can have an impromptu mini-meet.

Thanks,
