I am in the middle of dropping my new VE into my Egg, and was wondering if my B15 Clutch Disk & Value Kit Pressure Plate (with only 3K on it) will be okay (with all the upgrade costs I do not have budget for JWT or ACT pressure plate). My driving style is as follows:

- no hard launches (3.5K rpm max)
- no powershifting
- go to the track (road racing) 3-4 times a year (shifting at 7-7.5K rpm)

This will be paired to fidanza 8.8lbs flywheel.

What do you guys think? Anyone running this setup, I'll be happy if it lasts me a year.

You should be ok but if you can some how buy a JWT pressure plate it would be advised. It is a fair amount of work to change this if it does not work so you may want to really try and get the money so you can be safe. But I think you will be ok if you have to use what you have. ;)

If you take it road racing, the clutch will not last very long. Do it right the first time, put an ACT or JWT pressure plate in, even if you have to push the install date back.

You wont regret the choice of a JWT PP and a B15 Disc. It is a great setup for the kind of power you have and it wont slip. Also it is almost also perfect dor daily driving. I love mine.

dont worry about it man. im running a basically stock clutch (exedy stage1) in my 12 sec NA ve car

dont have a ve but i do have the light flywheel with b15 disk and jwt PP with alot of bolts on and its perfect
