Just figured out that mapquest SUCKS! Use Yahoo maps instead and go to "driving directions"

Yeah *** is stupid...that's all one road going in one direction. The only reason I told people to try yahoo is because mapquest uses these goofy street names that ***** around here has ever used **

I have some good directions. Takes you on a bit of a backroad to get around reading though.

Start going west on the PA turnpike.
*Take exit 21 (Spur Rd W)
*Take that to Rt 222 N. for about 1 mile.
*Take 222 N to Rt 724 W (Shillington Rd.)
*Take 724 W to Rt 422/Penn Ave
Bear left onto Old Rt 422/Tulpahocken Rd
Take your 1st left onto RellyRd/ Chestnut St
Then a slight left onto W Main St.

Ian tell me if this sounds right. I got this off of my map program at work. It looked to be the most direct rt from jersey without going through Reading.

The * is the roads used to get around reading. If you don't want to go that way then you can take the PA Turnpike straight to 422 and enter Reading at your own risk...lol.

Guys as far as I know you can take 422 all the way to the lebanon exit if you are coming from the philly area. The Lebanon exit actually is where 422 changes from one route to another...that's why you take that exit. It kind of goes around reading...Reading will sit down to your right across a river

okay here's good directions from the turnpike (Philly Area): take exit at morgantown, PA (route 176N)
follow until it ends, getting into the left lane to get to rt 422W
Take rt 422 until you see signs for Penn Ave/ WEST READING. West reading is not a shithole, it's a suburb. Take that xit and you are on penn ave heading west. Follow that for about 1/2 hour through lots of lights, eventually lots of farmland...and look for Millardsville Road (light) and you also wil see signs for the meet. Follow the arrows:)

I put this down because it may be really congested trying to get onto 422 at King Of Prussia as usual!

Route 83 to route 81N to route 78 E to exit for Bethel/rt501
follow 501S signs to route 422 East
take left onto 422E and go to next light
take right at light and follow that road directly to the meet.

Take 78W to exit for 501S follow 501S until light for 422E take left
go to next light (1 mile or so) and take right...follow this road directly to the meet.

Follow Turnpike until allentown exit...(US 22 West) this will turn into 78W follow until 501/Bethel exit. Follow 501S until you get to a light for 422 E Turn left hee.
follow until next light (1 mile or so) take right and follow to meet.

From Pottsville/Coal Regions/Bloomsburg, etc.
Take 61S to 78 W and follow above directions from there.

You're west of Bloomsberg? Damn thats far!

Dimitri...it's nowhere near bloomsburg...that is just the most direct route from that area.You probabaly want the directions from Harrisburg! Its approx 30-40 mins from Harrisburg using those directions, depending on how you drive.
