im turbo'n my se-r and i wanted to know how much hp a stock freashly rebuilt half axle can take, and if not much can you tell me where i can get some good after market half axles.

It takes big power to destroy a half-shaft in a straight line; you'll destroy third gear before the axle. If you road race, 150 hp can wipe out the rubber boot.

They are actually called halfshafts, not half axles. Or, some people just call them axles.

Bruce is right, you don't need to get new halfshafts unless yours are already kaput.
