It's 47 pounds in weight... and holds 750 lbs... good enough for an SR.

does anyone know what the length and thread pattern of the bolts i need to hold the engine to the stand are?

Use the same bolt thread pitch as the tranny bolts, just longer. I believe they're M12x1.5 or M12x1.25.

I bought bolts at home depot that worked. 80MM in length.

Just take a tranny bolt off and take it to home depot and use their bolt configuration tool on display.

i dont have a tranny bolt that i could use to line it up with
but i guess i could just stop at home depot or some other store on the way home from picking it up run inside buy one of each bolt see which one fits and then i can just buy 3 more of whichever one fits best.

thanks for the help

The bolts are definitly M12x1.75, I just bought some to hang my VE on a stand. Picked up 3 bolts with an 80mm length. I also picked up 1/2" bolt and nut 5" long to use on the starter side, since it is not threaded on the engine on that side. I wanted to have 4 solid mounting points, and Home Depot didn't have any M12 bolts longer than 80mm. It is solid as a rock.
