My SR16ve motor got hurt. Plan to pull it up this weekend.

Now I want to know if there is a huge difference between the head of the sr16ve and the sr20ve.

reason for asking is that I am doing the sr16/20ve conversion and would just swap in the sr16cams (providing they are ok!) into the sr20 motor rather than to pull the sr20 motor to put on the sr16 head.

want to know how much better is the head of the sr16. remember I'll use the sr16 cams anywways.

Thanks

They're identical. Just put your SR16VE cams onto the SR20VE engine & you're away. Unless you have a SR16VE N1 engine there is no difference. Use the blue rocker cover though, it's cooler ;)

Thanks bro. That's exactly what i plan to do - use the blue tappets cover. Swapping just the cams is easier/cheaper than using the head. At least save myself a head gasket.
