Hi All,
Today i recieved my HKS GT3037 52T 0.73, now i have the job of fitting it to the standard GTIR manifold, Thing is the compressor outlet faces the wrong way and also the turbine housing is situated so that the oil drain will not sit directly below the turbo, I pressume the oil drain needs to be as straight towards the floor as possible due to gravity being the only thing pulling oil out of the turbo(is this correct)? Do these turbo have oil seals as they are ball bearing someone mentioned they are different in this department somehow?
Finally is it ok to just slacken the housing bolts and turn the housing without causing problems later? Both compressor and turbine need moving.
Cheers
