G'day lads. I spun the big end bearing in my 200sx not long. Luckily had another engine that was good in the shed. So got it Refreshed, New Rings gaskets and all that shit. Just to make sure it wasnt going to fuck up again.

Just put it in the Engine bay, Wired it all up. It cranks over, but wont fire and start. Ive checked for spark in the coil packs etc. And have spark at all 4 plugs.

The lad thats been helping me thinks it might be the timing? ( we tryed to put the distributer on exactly the same as before) And is waiting for an Engine manual and timing light or something.

Im totally not mechanically minded, So a few suggestions to check would be awesome.

check for fuel

check oil pump. it couldve froze. check fuses!. check if you plugged the starter in. check the plugs. your maf sensor. throttle position. check the flywheel also

A freshed swapped Sr that wont start. Garanteed you did one of these:

-Forgot to plug in ECU harness and two smaller harnesses up in the dash.

-Swapped the fuel return line with the fuel in line (MOST PEOPLE DO THIS!!!)

-Swapped the rear O2 harness with the distributor harness (this will fry the ECU)
