can anyone tell me how to remove the stock air box?

Should be pretty straight forward. You don't even need a repair manual to do it. Remove you temp sensor on the intake nozzle and just unbolt everything ahead of the MAF.

undo the clamp that connects the hose to the top of the airbox, unclip the 4 clips that hold the top to the bottom. Remove the top half, but before that unscrew the temp sensor.

There should be 3 bolts holding in the bottom half of the box. Undo bolts, yank it out. That's it.

alright i took the airbox top off and realized were the boltz were.

It was one of the hardest things I have ever done, I would suggest you just sell the car.

Yup, better off paranoid than with bolts in the intake manifold ;)
