So you have both:
GTi-R exhaust manifold
and
Avenir exhaust manifold
This this just my opinion first we probably know the GTi-R manifold is better than the U12/U13 Bluebirds exhaust manifolds because of the horsepower number produced between the 2 granted the GTi-R came with a T-28 and the U12/13 Bluebirds came with T-25, since then remembering that the GTi-R stoped being produced in 1994, here came the W10 Avenir and U13 Bluebird which I may add share the same turbo T25 14411-1E001 and produce these numbers respectively;
U13 Bluebird 206 hp, 201 Tq produced up until 1996
W10 Avenir 226 hp, 203 Tq produced from 1996 - 1998
the only difference is the exhaust manifold which in the case of the Avenir resembles the GTi-R exhaust manifold know the GTi-R stoped being made in 1994 granted I know it has a T28 but that is what makes the Avenir that much more impressive it produces the same HP out of a T-25. Anyways to get back to your ? which is better I would have to say this, the Avenir exhaust manifold was created in 1996 the GTi-R exhaust manifold was created in 1990 I think maybe since then the know how has gotten a little better but of course this is just my opinion.

Use the GTiR manifold. It will allow you to bolt up a t-28 later if you want. The other manifold will not clear the block to put on a t-28.

Yes that if true and I also believe the GTi-R has an adjustable wastegate actuator as OEM stock were as the Bluebird and Avenirs do not but that is not that important if you were going to use a bleed valve or some other means of upping the boost.
LoRidinNx2000 make sure you do not mix up the exhaust elbows because the one from the pulsar GTi-R is better and I believe it is the same bolt pattern as the Avenir's and Bluebirds, if you look at the casting you will see it is a little less restrictive on the GTi-R then that of the others BB & Avr's.
