If I plan on turboing later, can I install a Walbro 255 fuel pump in my car without excessive fuel consumption?

I assume the Fuel Pressure Regulator will keep the pressure constant, but then again, its a guess.

Everything else in the car is NA (injectors, etc.)

I did it for 2 months before I threw in the 50lb injectors and adj. fpr. and ECU.No harmful resaults as far as I could see. Mileage was the same.

you can do it completely NA. It won't do any harm. It won't give out more fuel than the motor needs.
