My A/C has been retrofitted with R134a stuffs.
But it hasn't been working since about 6 months after the retrofit.
While trying to recharge it, I found a leak in the "bleeder screw"(?) in front of the compressor.
So, I tightened it up a little.
Now the low-pressure side does not want to take any more recharge (after only one can), and the pressure guage, when hooked up, says I have *way* to much pressure in the line. (this is *not* the high-pressure line, BTW)
Can anyone think off the bat what may cause this? When the refrigerant goes in (when I had the leak), the compressor would click on and the AC would get cold for about 5 seconds.
Help, I'm sweating my ass off, here.
