: JWT turn-around lately?
llaprad1 08-08-2002, 04:25 AM Has anyone had any experience with the turnaround of a re-reprogrammed ECU from JWT, lately?
I want to get my ECU re-reprogrammed for a T25 set-up, but I need to guage how long I should borrow a car from the 'rents.
MauiBlueGride 08-08-2002, 06:29 AM 4 months....
Seriously, it was at least 3 for the ECU I bought then sold to TUNED 200 for his swap.... total BS.

Andreas Miko 08-08-2002, 09:39 AM Hey llaprad1, if you get the JWT comp from me all you have to do is send me $550 for the comp, I will order it, when the JWT comp gets here you send me your comp and I will send out the JWT comp. Your dowm time will be no more than 3-4 days of shipping time. Also you will not have ti soend any money on a rental car.

Calum 08-08-2002, 11:30 AM That is a good deal.
...btw they were 3 months on mine. I just bought a spare ecu in the mean time.
spdracerUT 08-08-2002, 11:36 AM 3-4 months? Damn... they must be busy as hell over there. I got mine a little over a year ago and had it back in a week.

turbo b13 se-r 08-08-2002, 04:47 PM If you have the JWT chip in already then It will take a few days to get it reprogrammed for say a bb det setup. Mine took only two days to get reprogrammed for the turbo setup. But I'm lucky because I live like 15 miles from the shop.

I was a little unclear... I already have a 10:1 JWT ECU, but need to get it reprogrammed for a T25 turbo.
What kind of arrangement can you make for that?
Andreas Miko 08-08-2002, 07:50 PM All you have to do is send me the money I will handle the rest. Just keep driving your car until the JWT comp get to me. When it gets to me I will let you know. Then all you have to do is send me your comp and I wills send the JWT comp to you. What does this mean to you 3-4 day down time and you do not have to spend money on a rental car.

unlucky 08-08-2002, 09:16 PM I don't know why it's taking everyone else so long.. I went through SR20Dev. and it took about 2 weeks from the time that I shipped it till I had it back in my hands. This was last month.
civicdragon 08-08-2002, 10:50 PM good thing i got two ecu's for when I gotta get one programmed... I got the G20 Ecu in my car and my SER ecu sitting in a padded box wrapped in static resistant plastic =)
eric96ser 08-08-2002, 11:25 PM Hey Louis, I have a B13 JWT ECU with the turbo program right here. How much do you want to pay? ;)
llaprad1 08-09-2002, 11:27 AM Time isnt nearly an imprtant factor as money.
Really, $100 is all Im really willing to pay (give or take $30 or so).
I have access to stock ECUs to use temporarily, and I dont have any turbo stuff yet, so Im willing to wait a little.
3 months is a little much, but on the other hand, anything over $100 is a lot much.
Eric, you got a use for a 91/92 10:1 JWT ECU???
nismo200 08-09-2002, 11:31 AM I went through Andreas...There was not much downtime at all. I think it was like 3weeks or so...maybe a little less. Ill tell you I received the ECU before I needed it. At a good price!

It will fit nicely in my '91 :)
llaprad1 08-09-2002, 04:05 PM So you want to do this? Even trade or you have something in mind?
I plan on going T25, 370cc, My MAF, is the turbo ECU "generic" enough for that?
