alright while trying to adjust my idle, which was not going well i thought what if i unplug the acv i think its called, the little motor thats inline with the iacv motor with the engine running, well when i did unplug it there was no change in idle, of course the engine was fully warmed up so my question is, is it bad or will my idle change only if i unplug it with the engine cold? also if it is bad do i need a gtir specific part since i have a gtir engine in my car or can i use the uh acv from any de? thanks in advance guys

I asume you mean the AAC (Auxiliary Air Control) valve. It should only really effect the idle during cold starts, but it is very important to have hooked up for the engine to idle properly.
Also, I am asuming you are suffering from high idle. First get your car warmed up and then get ready to work. Unplug your TPS and adjust the idle screw. BTW, make sure your AAC and FICD (Fast Idle Control Device) valve are both hooked up. If you cannot adjust your idle to about 850 rpms (+/-50) with the TPS unpluged then you have an issue somewhere.
First make sure your timing is at 20*. Not 15, not 17, 20. Check for boost leaks. If you are good on these items, then its time to look at other things. Make sure your o2 sensor is working correctly. Check the ECU for codes at this time too. Check to make sure your throttle cable isn't to tight.
If you are still having high idle after you have checked and double checked all these things, then go back and tripple check and make sure all the valves are working correctly and ensure that the ECU is talking to them. Oh, and check for boost leaks again.
And yes, the GTi-Rs AAC valve is a special unit for that engine. You will have to source one.
