Here's a question for everyone with the stock bonnet still:

How would be intrested in a set of very nice carbon fiber vents? All 3, the main and the 2 side vents. I am trying to work out a deal with Knight-Racer on these things. The price will be about £170 plus shipping. That's if we get 10 people in on the deal. I haven't hit up the two GTiR boards, but I'll be doing the same here in a bit.

Price would be £170 plus shipping. Shipping to the states will more then likely be around £20 (hopefully not any more) so that's around $374.21 for the 3 vents all done in lovely carbon fiber plus shipping.

The whole hood in a group buy would be like £475 + shipping. Can you imagine how much it would be to ship a hood from the UK? Better off, would you trust the postal service to ship a carbon fiber hood over seas?

Ideally we would get like 10 maybe 15 hoods on a palette and get the manufacturer to pack them securely and possibly within a plywood structure...then we all share in the glory of a totally baller CF GTIR hood...but I should shut up since I don't have the time to put the buy together and you are trying!
Personally I am going to go for the whole deal at some point in the future.

There will be CF GTI hoods available in the states soon. Gotta finish up another GTiR project first.

He can do the side vents only, though he needs to check the prices first, should be a whole lot cheaper. Postage will be cheaper too due to the size of them.

And yes and they work with factory blanking plates.

Got a good picture in of what you would be getting this morning. He's still trying to work out the price on just the two side vetns for us, and hopefully we will get shipping quotes as well. Once all that gets done I will makes sure all the info gets in the group buy thread, then hopefully we can get about ten people in on this.

Alright, for everyone that asked and seemed interested, here it is. We need ten (10) people to make this work.

It will have to be paypal payment only, which also attracts an extra 3.5% on top.

~For Full Vents, £ 170, Postage is £ 25 within Europe, £ 35 Rest of the world (well, within reasons). So that’s £ 202 to Europe, and £ 212 ($416.30) to the rest, shipped and after paypal fees.

~Side vents only £ 100; postage is £ 15 within Europe, £ 25 Rest of the world. (Price pending. Might be a little less or more, but we wanted to get something out there for us). That means its £ 119 for Europe, and £ 129 ($253.32) for the rest of us, shipped and after paypal fees.

The vents are full 100% carbon fiber and are products of Kinght-Racer. Small deposits will need to be made from dedicated buyers, and once we get ten (10) people in on it we can start paying in full and getting these puppies shipped out.
