Flat battery.

Do you mean completely drained??

It may not be completely drained, but you need a certain number of amps available to energize the starter solenoid, and then the starter to actually turn it over. You can have enough to turn on lights, but not enough to get her going.

Have you tried a boost? Other than that, you may be stuck with either charging the battery (if you have access to a charger, and hoping there is enough left in it to accept a charge), or replacement.

I tried jump starting, but nothing. The battery is the gold duralast from autozone, which comes with a free 3yr replacement and its only about 6 months old, so I am going to bring it back and exchange it for a new one.

Check the ground between the chassis and engine.

Check the ground between the chassis and engine.

You mean the main ground that goes from the battery to the chassis and then to where the thermostat housing is?

I will definitely check that.

Yup. 3 options:

1.) Dead/Bad Battery
2.) Bad/Loose connections (i.e. ground to block, solenoid signal wire, starter power wire (black/red))
3.) Bad starter/solenoid.

To hot at the moment to be playing with it, so I'll be checking out those things by the end of the week and report what happens.
