I'm thinking my lifters are clanking. Sounds like lincoln logs smackng around under the VC. Something I should address asap? Thanks. :)

might want to take a look to see if all the shims are in place under the rocker arms. i changed my intake cam shaft a while back and one of the shims fell out of place. made a really bad clanking sound. hope this helps. good luck!

make sure you are running 5W-30 or 10W-30, those valvetrains dont like thick oil.

pull it off, id almost bet the chain is slapping the upper guide in ithe VC. mine did that a little after replacing the gasket. Its kinda like the vc can move a tad too far to the left and the chain will slap it or something like that.
