Here is a clip of the motor sound. It is a mix between badass and the paul walker F&F eclipse lol.

There are tons more pics of the entire build on www.sr20-forum.com in the turbo section. The car pulls very hard and feels very strong. Turbo hits harder with the VET cams installed. I am very happy! :biggthump :biggthump :biggthump

I did some pulls on the freeway onramp yesterday. The car feels great. These VET cams made all the difference in power! I need to lean out the afr a lil and play with the timing. Then the car should be good for about 375whp (hopefully). It is running 1.1 bar right now.

I have some springs (hyperco) that will go on very soon. Just need money for some konis.

Nice car man, I don't think I've told you that before.

For the VET cams, they are just drop and drive?

The VET cams drop right in. If you have a log manifold you need the VET cams. If you have a tubular the cams to get would prob be the 20v version cams. Those things are crazy! But the overlap on the NA cams cause big reversion problems on the VE if you are using a log manifold like I am.

Car runs awesome, but I need to manage heat under the hood better. Maybe add a vent or something. I just bought an NX2000 radiator that will go in very very soon. Also I will be heat wrapping everything under the hood and possibly adding that vent to the stock hood as long as I can make it look decent.

I love the car though. It may handle like a caprice and stop like a tank, but a new suspension and a good set of pads will fix that. The power is great though!

nice, good to see you finally have it running the way you want. I am still going to give the na cams a go though, just spend a bit of time tuning it properly with adj gears

You should be able to take out about 10* overlap safely, but if you have a tubular manifold you should be ok. You just have to try it and see. Log mani ftl with stock cams.

i haven't decided on the manifold yet tbh, but it is a choice out of the standard s13det manifold with a bit of dremil/port work or a stainless bolt on tubular item. For rwd its easy to get a tubular item so i dont have to rush the decision.

its just that i hate stainless steel manifolds, a because they are weaker, create more underbonet heat soak and loose heat from within the manifold creating more lag. plus i prefer the cast item. However i am a little worried whether the standard item opened up a little will flow enough. so there are negatives and positives for both
