I restore vintage bikes and have been looking into this and thought it might be useful for someone. I read that it can't be used on aluminum, but it'll still work good for someone that wants to clean up a header/exhaust manifold or cai or something else thats steel on our cars.
At $7 to mix a kiddie pool full of it, it's probably cheaper than sandblasting too.

I tried it and it only works on chrome and painted parts with rust spots.

I stripped a bike of all the paint and threw it in there and it made the rust worse.

It worked great on another bike that I didn't strip the paint off, it just had little rust spots all over and it worked the best on all my chrome parts.

I haven't tried it on any car parts yet though, but I still have a 30 gallon tub of it sitting in my garage.

that is a very useful tip, this will work good to clean my wire wheels for my jeep.
