my engine had sat for a while and then i finally got it into a car, it ran fine for maybe 2 weeks, now in 1st and 2nd it jerks really bad unless i let off the throttle, i thought it MAY be from a bad tank of gas becuase it started right after i filled the tank when it was almost empty, i put some gas treatment in it and it still happens, would it be gummed injectors?...it only happens in the lower gears, i'm confused, it ran fine last week, TIA , scott

clean your tb, and check for vacuum leaks

i had mine sitting while my parents went on vacation, and i drove their cars, and it did that

i checked the hoses the other day, and didnt see anything, ill try the tb, thanks, scott

is it like a popcorn thing.. if it is.. then check your plug wires you might be miss firing

ya, you could say its popcorn type of thing, it jerks when i try to accelerate, kinda like when someone is bad at driving standard and the car jerks, but its not that, i'm going to check my timing and the wires, but i didnt think it would be the wires since they are pretty new aftermarket wires, thanks for the help, scott

i replaced the plugs and wires w/ the stock ones and put a different fuel filter on it, was driving to work and didnt buck at all, then i came to a stop sign just before i got there and it bucked in 1st and 2nd again!!.what the hell!?!?!?! why did it stop and start again???..thanks
