IIRC we had a discussion about this waaaay back in the day. The 16/20VE and the 16VE N1 had different pumps. The N1 being superior, iirc. However, theyre pretty limited and I think you can only get the regular VE model now which is what everyone sells.

wow, imagine when these guys need to change out their pumps, unless they get a secret part no. only which they know and are sworn to secrecy...it's a conspiracy!:rofl:

naa nothing like that. I used to have the part # somewhere. You just cant get them anymore. I think the new VE one which everyone sells is the replacement for every form of VE LOL. I cant complain. Mine has made up to 120psi of oil pressure during start up :eek:

Is the sr16ve oil pump better than the the sr20ve? From what I saw on Gspec the sr16 seems to be better. Can anyone confirm?

Man they don't sell now!!!
Pumps were the same from the begging of cars production.
There are no secret or hidden part numbers.
