Anyone want to go up to the strip tonight at Dinwittie? The weather report says lows in the low 60's out that way. Sounds like a good night for some fast times. I'm not sure im going but id say about 80% chance that i will. I know 98sr20ve was considering it and Peanuthead is a possibility too.

I was there for like an hour and actually in the mood to drag race for once, but arrived too late to sign up. :confused: Saw some classics in the low 15's and a green 99? SE in the 14's. Awesome weather... hope everybody did well. :-)

It was ULTRA crowded last night because of the good conditions i think. I only got 4 runs in. I was one of the classics in the low 15's, i ran a 15.1 @ 91.2 for my best time. nothing spectacular but not bad either. Peanuthead and 98sr20ve were there too as well as some dude in a maxima who was an avid nissan fan. I did learn one valuable lesson, weight makes a HUGE difference. I rode with this girl as a passenger for the first run. 2.34 60' 15.7@89.3 but 20 minutes later when she wasnt riding along. 2.36 60' 15.3@90.8 almost identical 60' times but nearly 4 10th difference in E.T. and she was small like maybe 5 foot 2 and a 110 pounds. Another funny story... i had the LEAST SKILLED run in the history of drag racing. I was in brackets, i Redlighted, Missed 2nd, and went under my dial in time. all in one run thats like 3 screw-ups. hahahaha

I posted my times here (http://www.sr20deforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23376) in the VE section. I ran a best of a 14.8 at 94.93mph with a 2.380 60' time. I am sure I could do better with a better launch. I have some thoughts that my rattling exhaust may have been triggering my knock sensor but who knows? I didn't realize how much it was rattling till I started driving home. I only got 6 runs in and one was with a passenger. I bogged huge off the line with him in the car and launching at a lower rpm to try and improve my 60' time I need more practice. Do you think it would be less crowded on a non import night??? I am still going to install the other cams when they come in so I am not done yet.

Good jobs guys !!! Does anyone have any Slicks I can run on the track? Turbo is not done yet.... that thing is never going to be done..

ohh one more thing can you guys PM your cell numbers. Because I have a new cell phone. Also does anyone want to help on checking my back pads. Looks like the driver is grabing more then the passager side.
