We at Mossy Performance are going to
have a Open House - Car Show kinda thing. I have probably spoken to
some of you about it. It will be held on Saturday, October 5th at
Mossy in Oceanside, CA. Want you all there.
But...
I am opening up a little contest for the artwork for the T-shirt and
fliers and such. I would like to offer a prize and much props and
notoriety to the winner. I would need all submissions by September 1
and then we would choose the winner and go with that design. So
please let anyone you know who might be interested to get the pencil
(or the computer) sharpened and submit some artwork.

Send them in. We will be judging them here. And harshly I might add. Your total reciepts will also influence your score...wait, I wasn't supposed to *say* that... j/k. Please do send them to me though. We will be judging them and will pick the winner the day after the close date. We will then use the design in all manners of promotion. And send you your prize.

Ew, this is what we in the design world, call "on spec" work. Get a bunch of people to work for free, pay only the "winner."

Tht being said, what the hell… Im a sucker for Nissan.

BTW, whats the focus need to be as far as subject matter is concerned?

Would you guys dig high-concept, or are you looking for your stereotypical likenesses of the cars (maybe caricatured? wouldnt that be original?)

For shirts and stuff, would the artwork need to be resitricted to two-color, 4-color, or is photographic crap fine?

I would hate to see you pick photgraphic artwork as the winner, only to see the reproductive quality look like crap-o screenprinted on a shirt.
