Hi I have a 1989 240SX Se Model Fastback and I have some electrical problems. The problem in the vehicle is that every time you turn the hazards or turn signals on the car does not flash. As soon as you hit the hazards switch or the side markers switch the turn signal light on the gauges stays on and does not flash. I first thought that the problem was a burned out light bulb but they were all okay. Then I thought of a burned out fuse or relay and they were all good. Any good suggestions? did you check the flasher its self?

Well not really would you know how it may look like? would you be able to know where it would be exactly located? Because now that you are telling me about the flasher I looked on the technical book and it just shows a schematic of the wiring but not the exact location. Where would you think it might be?

by the relays under the dash usually not sure on 240's

looks like a realy its a little black box, or it is older it can be a little silver cylinder

unfortunately, I looked almost everywhere for an electrical diagram with locations of devices and sadly I haven't found anything. In this case the last thing to inspect is the flasher thanks to your great help. Still does the flasher look like an amplifying box or is a relay looking type? do you know any physical description of the flasher?

anymore hints to find the flasher in a 240sx? or any recommendations to fix this turn signal problem?
