hey.
i got a SAFC I - some questions.
1 - the manual says SR20DET, should run hotwire sensor 6., im running the ka mafs, should i run 6? or 5? or what?... and and say i upto a z32 maf, do i need to change my ecu map,or can i use the SAFC to change it.
2 - what do i set for the following
Low point
High Point
TH Point
NE Point

1. Are you running the SOHC or DOHC mafs? If youre running the DOHC then get an SOHC mafs or go ahead and get the Z32 mafs. The point of the hotwire function is so you can run an alternate mafs and still send the proper signal to the ECU, so you don't have to get it remapped. As for the setting, it may vary from engine to engine and ECU to ECU. With the SAFC 2 some people run 6 in 2 out and some people ran 5 in 2 out (those may be backwards as its been a while since i had the stock mafs) which just ran different for different people. Try multiple settings until you find what your engine likes most.
2. Those are meant for tuning. If you havent begun to tune the car,which im assuming you havent, dont worry about those yet.
Do some research on the web, perhaps via google?

honestly using a safc isn't the best idea on a sr because when you alter the fuel map with the afc it also alters the timing map making it much more advanced then usual. The ideal setup to go with is either a rom tune or a power fc, check out www.importitelligence.com they offer mail order tunes for the rom tuning and can help with the power fc as well.
