Me and my buddy have been removing the clear coat from his carbon fiber hood because it had already came off in a few spots. probbbably should of done some research first but basically we'v been using a credit card to get under it and peel it off. its not working too well and i know theres got to be an easier way.

any comment would be appreciated

thanks guys

There are no chemicals made to do this, and mechanical means, a.k.a. sandpaper are not going to work either. Sand the clear down with 400 wet, and just reclear if you are having a problem.

credit cards IMO are a best way to remove the clear W/O damaging the paint underneath.
