What do you think would cause this to happen only when cold. After a few minutes of driving it is fine, but until then I have to keep giving it gas to keep it from dying... Kind of hard to start when cold to. Once I get it going there is no problem thruought the day so long as I don't let it sit for more than 3-4 hours...

Try a new set of plugs -- NGK coppers #6s.

It tells about rebuilding some sort of AAC or IACV unit, seems pretty difficult to me. You may be able to find a new or used unit for cheap. If not, good luck finding and fixing the problem. Hope this is of some help to ya!
